Carlos forgot his shoes. He's walking across lava rocks. Amazingly, he's pretty much ok.


These are mangroves. Usually they grow near the ocean, but these are inland.


This area used to be under water, but it was uplifted by volcanic action about fifty years ago.


There is old coral here that was once underwater.
